I would really love to have a computer and do some recordings for some people I know, or even give myself some motivation. I hope I can come up with some projects for myself to do over Christmas break!

Possible upgrade next semester?
This is what I presently have. http://d.pr/DFUY
Maxed out at 2GB RAM, and that is hardly enough anymore; but my 500GB HD inside this beast is more than enough for me. Probably get a 15" i7 and 4GB RAM to start off with. Part of me wants to stick with a Mac, the other wants a PC. In either case, I can't decide if I want to sell this and help with the cost or if I want to do http://d.pr/JkYa with it and turn it into a remote desktop computer that I can just use for a personal private server.
Thinking about upgrading laptop next semester.
